Group running sessions

We continue to use google sheets for members to sign up to club runs and training sessions. This will limit the number of runners per group to 13 people, a ratio of one Run Leader / Coach to 12 runners, the maximum advised by UK and England Athletics.

Our main club run night is Tuesdays, with runs of 5k up to 10k in roughly 50 minutes (plus time for a warm up and cool down/stretches).

Our club Coaches offer training sessions on Thursday evenings - locations and times vary, so check the google sheets for more details. The ratio of Coach to runners is the same as with group runs - 1:12.

We also offer a mixed ability social group run on Thursday evenings - run at the pace of the slowest member, with faster members looping back to join up with slower runners.

An update of the sheet is sent weekly by email to members and is also included on club social media (Facebook and WhatsApp groups). If you would like to join any group run or training session, please sign up in advance. If you realise that you cannot make the run after all, please let the Run Leader know beforehand, so that no-one is waiting around for you.
