Details of RUN FITNESS NINE WEEK PROGRAMME

Tuesdays*  & Thursdays   7.00pm for 7.15pm start  

Road/Cross Country running at:

Last Thursday of each month  throughout the year – Naked Run from the Parklangley Club. You are asked to estimate your time for a run of approximately 5 miles; the runner finishing closest to their estimated time wins the prize kitty. All good fun for a £2 contribution: £1 goes to the prize kitty and £1 to the collection for the charity chosen by BVAC members for the year. Please come clothed, but without your watch!! Be there by 7 pm to register and check the route map. 

*Notes for summer changes to Tuesday:     

1.  First Tuesday   of every month, in Summer (April-September), handicap from Norman Park Bus Shelter. Meet at 6.45pm for a 7.00pm start in April and September. Meet at 7.00pm for a 7.15pm start in May, June, July and August. More details  here  

2.  Every Tuesday except the first Tuesday   of every month (17th May – 16th August), cross country from the Bromley Veterans bench on Hayes Common (far right-hand corner of the   field in Warren Road, which is at the top of Station Hill, Hayes). Meet at 7pm.  

Wednesdays   9.30am for a social road/cross country run of about 1 hour (and cakes!); there is usually a group of walkers for those who prefer that option on the morning. Venue changes weekly. (email: admin@bromleyvetsac.org.uk )

Second Thursday  of each month, Jane and Phil Greenfield's coaching sessions start at Sparrows Den car park at 7.30 pm for one hour, nominal charge of £3. This includes a warm-up, drills and some fairly intensive intervals, plus a cool-down to finish.

Sundays  We usually meet at 9.00am at the big gate at the entrance to the Hayes field in Warren Road, which is at the top of Station Hill, Hayes.  We have become a very diverse group now with people from Bromley Veterans, ex-club members, some from Jane’sRunners group and others who might just meet us for coffee. We go out in any weather usually to the Wilberforce Oak, a 5mile round trip - and sometimes the extra 3 mile loop via Farthing Street and surrounding fields. As with all our club runs, no-one gets left behind as there are all abilities. We are very friendly and welcome anyone who would like to join us for a run.
