A run was in aid of the RNLI. There were 200 runners, which for a first trial of the event was really good. The route was through a field adjacent to the seafront for the first kilometre and then four kilometres along the seafront promenade before turning around and running back. There was no traffic, walkers or distractions. The sea was beside us throughout and it was a really lovely evening. At the end we got a goody bag and a medal. There were also loads of prizes to be won by all age categories.
