Sunday the 12th of February was one of those miserable wet winter mornings when sane folk snuggle down into the duvet and dream of reincarnation as a dormouse. Undaunted, 3 Bromley Vets ventured north of the A20 and lined up with 300 other comfort shirkers to run this relatively flat, rather pedestrian course of 3 laps around the streets of Sidcup. This town must have more dips in its pavements than most, as I do not think I’ve splashed through so many puddles in the course of a morning.
Despite the weather and the slightly tedious nature of the course, it was a good run, producing faster times than at Canterbury. The marshals kept smiling and did a good job. It was good to see Linda running again.
