Sunday 2 October was a very warm day. Not ideal for a 10k which promised to be through sheltered woodland, though there were plenty of open spaces where the sun beat down on the runners. It was certainly picturesque though and a challenging trail. The six members how ran certainly enjoyed the experience though and sitting through the endless spot prizes, though it was great to see Anne Unseld take first prize in one of the older categories for women! (Particularly when she strolled part of it to see the scenery.)
