It was brisk but a lovely sunny morning. It had rained quite a lot the previous day - so the five dykes were bound to prove something of a challenge. That that's what makes this a really special event! The run starts on the beach and, if you're like me, you finish in the sea (only bathing facilities around and the water in those dykes really pongs).
