Huge congratulations to the nine club members who completed the Belfast City marathon with some very impressive times. Fortunately the rain before the start eased off and only returned as they approached the last couple of miles. Special mention to Rowena Kibblewhite who achieved a massive PB, and Joan Andrew, who had also ran the London marathon the previous week and still managed to improve her time!
The relay team consisting of Barbara Baker, James Ward, Gareth Hudson (who ran two legs) and Dave Cannon completed the marathon in 04:03:06 despite somewhat chaotic transfers at the change-over points.
